Teamwork

Personally, I have always attached great importance to teamwork, but different companies and different people have different understandings of teamwork. Recently, we have interviewed many candidates and emphasized to the candidates that we are a company that attaches great importance to teamwork, and many people don’t I understand that there were dozens of people in my previous team who also worked as a team. What is different from the teamwork you mentioned? The teamwork that I personally understand is really not the generalized teamwork Teamwork in the market. It's the real team working together.

Obey

Each team member takes independent actions to meet challenges in his own field. In other words, each member obeys the need to do things, but avoids working together. For example, I once worked with a business department leadership team, and the company asked them to lay off 10% of their staff in order to achieve the company's goals. Without much discussion, everyone agreed to lay off 10% of the staff in their respective departments, and then reported these figures to the head of the business department. Although this "pain-sharing" approach does meet the company's requirements, there is likely to be a better way.

Cooperation

Everyone still develops and implements their own plans, but will share what they have done with the team. Although there are some common discussions, the focus is still on individual actions rather than on common strategies. For example, in order to increase sales performance, a technology company has substantially increased its sales targets in all regions. As a result, the regional managers showed their abilities to complete these indicators. Some have comprehensively improved the sales targets of sales staff, some have reallocated resources to high-potential customers, and some have used service contracts to bridge the gap. They share their practices and give feedback to each other at the weekly telephone meeting. But they never formulated a common strategy to comprehensively utilize resources, ideas and talents. Finally, although some regions have completed their targets, the overall figures are still disappointing.
